Mutton or " Cull Ewe " shanks really reward the low and slow approach to cooking! Once braised the meat can be pulled from the bone, making a delicious filing for pies or pasties.
Equally as tasty, slow cooked in a casserole. Mutton shanks are highly favoured by many top chefs.
